Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday of the year. I love that there is a holiday just for being thankful for all that God has given us. In addition to that, I adore the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and The National Dog Show that are broadcasted every Thanksgiving. Another thing I love about Thanksgiving is, of course, the food! We usually have Thanksgiving at our home, so I feel an obligation to have a great outfit. Read below for my Thanksgiving day look book!
Outfit #1 – Thanksgiving Lunch/Celebration Outfit
For my Thanksgiving lunch & celebration outfit, I chose this dress from Her Universe, which is inspired by Princess Leia’s Bespin ensemble. I adore this dress, even though I’m not usually a huge fan of dresses. It is comfortable and themed after one of my favorite franchises. I chose to pair this outfit with gold heart earrings and a pair of moccasin-like boots from UGG Australia.
Outfit #2 – Lounge Outfit
After all the guests have left, I like to change into a comfortable lounge outfit. This year, I’m sticking with the Star Wars theme and wearing an Ewok sweatshirt from Her Universe and a pair of black leggings. This outfit is perfect for napping, relaxing, and eating leftovers!
Outfit #3 – Pajamas
I kind of wanted to wear Christmas pajamas after Thanksgiving because many people see the end of Thanksgiving as the official beginning of Christmas, but since I’ve been wearing Christmas pajamas since November 1st, I thought I could stick with my aforementioned Star Wars theme. These pajamas are from Pottery Barn Kids and made of a Star Wars-printed flannel material. These pajamas are wonderful for a cold, almost-winter’s night.
