A Vegan Celiac’s Guide to Freezer Food (GF + Vegan)

Despite the rising fame of gluten-free diets, good gluten-free food is still quite difficult to find. As someone who suffers from Celiac Disease, I always eat gluten-free and can find it frustrating when I can’t find any gluten-free options.

After watching a documentary, I also decided to try and go vegan. I’ve only been successful as a vegetarian thus far, but I try to eat vegan options as often as I can. I’ve rounded up some gluten-free vegan freezer food options that are relatively healthy and can be made quickly for people like me who struggle to find gluten-free vegan options. Enjoy!

  1. Amy’s

Amy’s has a lot of quick, easy, healthy, gluten-free, and vegan options. A lot of the soups are gluten-free and vegan as well! The products that are (currently) listed as both gluten-free and vegan on the website are:

  • Teriyaki Wrap
  • Indian Aloo Mattar Wrap
  • Non-Dairy, Gluten-free Burrito
  • Black Bean & Quinoa Burrito
  • Organic Sandwich Rounds
  • Amy’s Dreamy Candy (nougat and coconut)
  • Cheese Pizza
  • Roasted Vegetable Pizza
  • Sonoma Veggie Burger
  • Tofu Scramble
  • Enchilada with Spanish Rice and Beans
  • Vegetable Lasagna
  • Veggie Loaf
  • Thai Green Curry
  • Teriyaki Bowls
  • Thai Red Curry
  • Tamale with Roasted Vegetables
  • Indian Vegetable Korma
  • Sweet and Sour Asian Noodle
  • Mattar Tofu
  • Brown Rice Bowls
  • Chinese Noodles and Veggies
  • Black Bean and Vegetable Enchilada
  • Brown Rice and Vegetables Bowls
  • Asian Noodle Stir-Frey
  • Breakfast Scramble
  • Tamale Verde
  • Quinoa and Black Beans with Butternut Squash and Chard
  • Pad Thai
  • Paella Bowls
  • Pesto Pizza
  • Spinach Pizza

As you can see, they have a LOT of options! The ones I have tried are delicious and healthy. Please be sure to check the labels, as I have accidentally gotten something I thought was gluten-free and it ended up being only vegan.

You can by one of my favorites (the brown rice and veggie bowl) on Amazon:

  • Carla Lee’s

All of Carla Lee’s products are gluten-free and vegan, to my knowledge. They currently have ‘meat’balls, burgers, muffins, and my personal favorite…mini tacos! These foods are very healthy and taste good. They are supposed to be coming out with some new products fairly soon so be sure to check out their website! You can also buy some products on Amazon.

  • Alexia

I will say that these products are not officially listed as vegan or gluten-free, but most of them do not contain gluten or non-vegan ingredients. My favorites are the sweet potato fries and truffle fries, but there are a lot of options! They have waffle-cut fries, oven fries, and sweet potato tots, to name a few. For those of you who have Celiac disease, make sure to avoid the onion rings. I thought they were gluten-free and got very excited about it, but they actually do contain gluten. As always, be sure to check labels and ingredients when buying these products.

  • Daiya

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love Daiya! All of their products are both gluten-free and vegan! I love their pizzas and cheezecakes especially. In addition to the pizzas and cheezecakes, they also have pasta dishes, cheeses, and dressings.

You can get a variety pack of the microwaveable pasta meals on Amazon:

  • GoodPop

GoodPop has gluten-free and vegan popsicles! They are so good. My favorite is the cookies n’ cream.

Try out some of their popsicles on Amazon:

  • Dr. Praeger’s

Dr. Praeger’s has a lot of gluten-free and vegetarian freezer foods in addition to gluten-free and vegan freezer foods. The vegan options include four potato hash browns, sweet potato hash browns, All-American veggie burgers, and Kale veggie burgers. My favorite gluten-free vegetarian products are the spinach, broccoli, and sweet potato nuggets.

Buy their heirloom bean veggie burgers here:

  • Beyond Meat

All of Beyond Meat’s current products are gluten-free and vegan! I love the grilled chicken strips, especially with some gluten-free and vegan BBQ sauce.

I hope y’all liked my list of gluten-free and vegan freezer foods. I am patiently waiting for Udi’s to come out with some vegan options, since they have a lot of gluten-free, meat-free, and dairy-free options right now. Let me know if there are any other gluten-free and vegan freezer foods I can add in another post!
